How long have you been in business?
Interpeople Inc. Mediation has been in business since 1996
What is your primary product or service?
I am mediator. Through Interpeople Inc. I offer mediation services to families and workplace. Most of my work is divorce mediation: helping people get divorced in an affordable and decent way, so their relationship improves and they can co-parent their children in a good way.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have a PhD in conflict resolution from Boston College (1994) and have been a mediator since 1988. Helping people overcome their painful conflicts is hard but very rewarding. I am drawn to to it because it is interesting and challenging. In addition to my PhD, I've earned BSN and for many years worked in various positions in hospitals.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Interpeople has offered Mediation services for 18 years. While the Boston Book of Lists included an ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) list of providers, Interpeople was in the top 20 providers every year. Experience and quality of service distinguish me and Interpeople Inc.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?

The Littleton office is on 294 Great Road, right next to a Bank of America. Red building, enter from the rear, 2nd fl. It is located a few hundred yards from Rt. 495, at Exit 31. The Arlington office is located in a professional building on 22 Mill Street, about 1 mile off Rt. 2. MEETINGS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Call: 800-336-0956.
