How long have you been in business?
The Lowell Association for the Blind (LAB) was established in 1923.
What is your primary product or service?
LAB provides services for the blind and visually impaired living in the Greater Merrimack Valley
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As the Executive Director of LAB, I have worked in human services for over 20 years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
LAB is the only non-profit north of Boston that provides services to the blind.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one location but provide outreach services to the Greater Merrimack Valley. We have recently expanded to include the Nashoba Valley.

We are conveniently located in downtown Lowell at
169 Merrimack St., on the second flr. We are just passed Barnes and Noble.
What type of payments do you accept?
Most services are povided free of charge.
Which areas do you service?
The Greater Merrimack and Nashoba Valley.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
LAB is run by an Executive Director who is responsible to the day to day operations.
What are your hours of operation?
The LAB office if open Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 4 PM.
